Ready to share your event with a wider audience? Posting your event on EventHub is a simple and effective way to reach potential attendees. Follow these easy steps to get your event listed and start connecting with your audience.

Step 1: Create an account

  • Create an Organizer Account (If You Don't Have One)
  • Go to the EventHub homepage and click on the "Post an Event" button.
  • Select the "Organizer" account type.
  • Fill in the required information (Name, Email, Password, Organization Name - optional).
  • Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Click "Create Account."
  • Note: You may need to verify your email address by clicking a link sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Access Your Organizer Dashboard

Once you've created and logged into your account, you'll be directed to your Organizer Dashboard. This is your central hub for managing all your events.

Step 3: Start Creating a New Event

On your dashboard, look for a prominent button that says, "Post an Event." Click on it to begin.

Step 4: Fill in Basic Event Information

  • Event Title: Enter a clear and compelling title for your event.
  • Event Type/Category: Select the relevant categories that describe your event (e.g., "Music Concert," "Business Workshop," "Community Gathering"). You can usually select multiple categories.
  • Short Description: Provide a summary of your event (this is often used in event listings).

Step 5: Provide Date and Time Details

  • Start Date and Time: Select the date and time when your event begins.
  • End Date and Time: Select the date and time when your event ends. (If it's a multi-day event, you'll typically specify the overall start and end dates).
  • Time Zone: Make sure to select the correct time zone for your event location

Step 6: Specify the Event Location

  • Venue Name: Enter the name of the venue (if applicable).
  • Address: Provide the full street address.
  • City, State/Province, Zip/Postal Code: Enter the location details.
  • Map Integration: Our platform will likely generate a map based on the address you provide.
  • Online Event (Optional): If your event is online, select this option and provide the link (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).

Step 7: Write a Detailed Event Description

Provide a comprehensive description of your event.

Include details like:

  • What attendees can expect.
  • Key speakers or performers.
  • Agenda or schedule.
  • Who should attend.
  • What to bring (if applicable).
  • Any other important information.

Step 8: Add Event Images and Media

  • Event Banner/Image: Upload a high-quality image that represents your event. This will be the main visual on your event page and in listings.
  • Additional Images/Gallery (Optional): Add more photos to showcase speakers, past events, or the venue.
  • Video Links (Optional): Embed links to promotional videos (e.g., from YouTube or Vimeo).

Step 9: Set Up Ticketing and Registration

  • Is this a free event? Select "Yes" or "No."
  • If Free: Simply set the total capacity (if limited).
  • If Paid:
  • Click "Add Ticket Type."
  • Enter the Ticket Name (e.g., "General Admission," "VIP," "Early Bird").
  • Set the Price for each ticket type.
  • Specify the Quantity of tickets available for each type.
  • Set Sale Dates (when tickets go on sale and when sales end).
  • Add a description for each ticket type (optional).
  • Repeat for multiple ticket types.

Capacity: Set the overall maximum capacity for your event.

Step 10: Review and Publish Your Event

  • Preview: Before publishing, click the "Preview Event" button to see how your event page will look to attendees. Make any necessary edits.
  • Save Draft: You can save your event as a draft if you're not ready to publish yet.
  • Publish Event: When you're satisfied with all the details, click the "Publish Event" button.


Congratulations! Your event is now live on EventHub and discoverable by potential attendees!

What Happens Next!
Your event will appear in search results and relevant categories. Interested attendees can now view your event details and register. You can track registrations and manage attendees from your Organizer Dashboard.
